Salford House is a private residential home for the elderly, centrally located in the attractive village of Salford Priors. Surrounded by peaceful countryside and only eight miles from Stratford-Upon-Avon and Evesham, Salford House is easily reached from the larger Midland communities.
Salford House has been designed to provide all the comforts of home, incorporating an optimum level of care in a relaxed and friendly environment which meets the requirements of our residents.
Whether it be on a permanent basis, respite or day care, we ensure that our residents are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. The care given will be planned, implemented and evaluated on a regular basis along with a discussion with the individual resident and their family.
Philosophy of Care
The Aim of Salford House is to provide a high standard of holistic care for our residents in a safe and secure environment which offers a restful but stimulating atmosphere and enhances the quality of life for the individual. Our objectives are to provide a high standard of care that:

Is planned by a named keyworker in partnership with the Home Manager, resident, their families and other health professionals.

Maintains the privacy and dignity of the resident, promotes self-direction and enhances their sense of well being.

Provides emotional support for families of residents.

Is maintained by ongoing educational training and staff development.

Our Home will provide services based upon consultation and assessment of the residents needs.
Our Home will involve residents in the planning and review of the services that are provided for them to ensure that their needs are met.
Our Home will consult with residents and their families regarding their satisfaction levels. We encourage suggestions.
Our Home will ensure that residents are fully informed about all matters, which might affect their well-being.
Our Home offers a range of social activities (arranged by our in-house activities coordinator) which stimulate and enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Single and Shared Rooms
Salford House has 23 rooms in total, 2 of which are shared rooms giving the opportunity for anyone wishing to share with a partner.
24/7
Each of our rooms has a call bell system so asking for a cup of tea at 3:00am isn't a problem!
Personalising Your Room
We want you to feel at home at Salford House, we actively encourage residents to bring items that will help personalise their rooms. This only amplifies the warm and homely atmosphere that Salford House offers.
Activities
We try to provide a variety of ways in which residents can engage in the enjoyment of social activities, hobbies and leisure interests. Residents individual wishes regarding involvement in activities will be respected. A balance will be struck between gentle encouragement and respecting wishes not to participate. Salford House employs an activity coordinator who organises a range of activities such as: Photography, Quizzes, Painting, Knitting and Guest Performers.
